Electric Shock is a short ranged weapon that, when fired, emits a ''constant'' stream of electricity directly in front of the player so long as the fire button is held and Weapon Energy is available.  When Electric Shock is being fired the player is unable to move but can still jump in any direction; this allows the player the ability to constantly attack in one direction while jumping in the opposite direction.  Being an Electric Category weapon Electric shock can interact with multiple Electric Interactive Objects in Mega Man Maker.  Electric Shock is capable of shooting ''through'' the shields of enemies and destroying enemy projectiles ''of all sorts''.
