Air Stone is a recurring enemy of Mega Man 11 with Fire, Nut, variants. The Stone, Fire, and Nut variants were added to Mega Man Maker in version 1.6.0 while an Ice variant was added in version 1.10.0
Behavior
The Air Stone consists of an aerial enemy that shoots a projectile in each of the eight directions from their edges: four in each of the orthogonal directions and four in each of the diagonal directions.
In their passive state, they hide with vibrations and cannot be attacked. When the player character is five tiles or closer to them, they will become completely visible and shoot their respective projectiles:
- Air Stone shoots light blue stones
- Air Fire shoots small flames that has fire properties
- Air Nut shoots purple nuts
- Air Ice shoots light blue ice shards that has ice properties
After firing their projectiles, the Air Stone exposes its body: the Air Ice has a purple body while the other three variants have a red body.
The Air Stones cannot be crushed and ignore terrain collision.
Trivia
- Air Ice is based off concept art of an unused ice variant of the Air Stone from Mega Man 11.
