1.8.0 was released on November 25th, 2022 and was focused on adding new content from Mega Man & Bass, some content Mega Man 8 that returned in this game, content from the Game Boy instalments, a handful of unique Mega Man Maker unique builder items, as well as  Fortress Bosses.
DWN-058 Astro Man, is a Robot Master that appears as a boss in Mega Man 8 and Mega Man & Bass. His appearance and behavior in Mega Man 8 was added in version 1.5.0 of Mega Man Maker. Astro Man fights using his signature weapons, the screen-encompassing Astro Crush and illusive Copy Vision, along with his spheres that orbit his body and fire projectiles.
1.8 also brought performance upgrades in loading, creating, saving and playing levels to reduce lag.
From the Mega Man & Bass side, 1.8 added 3 new bosses and 6 weapons as well as an assortment of Enemies , Level Objects, and tiles.
Similarly from the Mega Man Gameboy side there is also 3 new bosses and 6 weapons along with the level objects, enemies, and tiles.

There is one new Cameo Weapon, the weapon Uber Chain is new and based on Team Fortress 2 which was added because Luigi1000 is a huge fan of the game.
He was once a robot built for use in a planetarium but was modified by Dr. Wily for combat and sent to destroy [[Mega Man]. He along with Tengu Man were later rebuilt for use in combat again by the robot King as a part of his robot revolution where they once again came into conflict with Mega Man as well as Bass.

According to the devs, it is the last large-scale update the devs are working on. the development team has stated that they do not intend to do any more multi-year long updates in the future. This does not mean that development will cease at 1.8. Rather, 1.9+ will be smaller scope and should have much shorter development times.
Behavior
Astro Man has three attack patterns that he can randomly use during battle.

About Development
1.A spin and dive towards the player in an attempt to collide with them.
The Development cycle of 1.8.0 was notoriously cursed according JumpDashEvade. During development a lot of problems occurred which slowed down the development of the game.
2.An attack involving Astro Man's spherical balls: they rotate in an elliptical path and shoot shooting star projectiles. Astro Man is an easy target during this attack as he does not move or attempt to guard himself.
* At two different times the team experienced server failures and lost progress.
3.The Astro Crush, which consists of a meteor rain made up of flaming afterimages of himself that are indestructible but can be reflected or canceled out by certain weapons. Before using it, he uses his spheres at a lower level and quickly flashes across several sections of the screen in an attempt to confuse the player. Both Astro Man and his spheres are intangible during this attack.
* 3 members of the dev team had deaths in their family.
* The wiki server experienced a critical error and the wiki was completely rebooted and all pages were lost.
* Some dev team members had left the team.
* Various host of real-life accidents including a car accident.

Changelog
Unlike most bosses, Astro Man floats in the air and does not travel on terrain and other solid assets such as the Conveyor Belt.

Behavior

Astro Man has three attack patterns that he can randomly use during battle.

1.A spin and dive towards the player in an attempt to collide with them. 2.An attack involving Astro Man's spherical balls: they rotate in an elliptical path and shoot shooting star projectiles. Astro Man is an easy target during this attack as he does not move or attempt to guard himself.

Unlike most bosses, Astro Man floats in the air and does not travel on terrain and other solid assets such as the Conveyor Belt.
