Spread Drill is Ground Man's signature weapon, originating from Mega Man & Bass. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.8.0.
If the shoot key is pressed, the player fires a big drill that pierces through enemy shields, but travels slowly and falls after a short distance. However, if the player presses the shoot key again, the drill becomes smaller and splits in half: this can be done up to two times, with a maximum of four small drills onscreen at a time.
