Skull Barrier is Skull Man's signature weapon, originating from Mega Man 4 and reappearing in Mega Man III. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.0.0.

When activated, the user is surrounded by a shield of skulls than can nullify one projectile or damage an enemy once before dissipating. It also possesses the ability to make its wielder immune to instant-death spikes, Sheep Spikes, Spike Platforms and ignited Oil as long as it's active. Unlike most shield weapons, Skull Barrier cannot be thrown forward. Regarding bosses, Wood Man's Leaf Shield, Plant Man's Plant Barrier, Grenade Man's Flash Bomb and falling debris, and Astro Man's Astro Crush are the only projectiles that cannot be nullified.
