Hornet Chaser is Hornet Man's signature weapon, originating from Mega Man 9. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.5.0.

Firing the weapon sends out a bee-shaped drone that will home in on any enemies and items that are on the screen after a brief delay, with priority being given to whichever is closest. Upon picking up an item, it will then return to the user's location before continuing to fly in the direction it was traveling. Quick-switching weapons will cause an item it was holding to be dropped, but it can be picked up again. Should an enemy be defeated by it, and there are still enemies or items on screen, then it will lock on to the next closest target. If no potential targets are present on screen, then the bees will simply travel diagonally upward. Up to three Hornet Chasers can be present at a time. Anti-Eddie's item can be retrieved by Hornet Chaser while it's still attached to him.
