Schmiddi was brought onto the team on January 8, 2018 as a spriter and moderator.[footnotes 1] Unlike most recruits, he was hired without applying because WreckingPrograms considered him fit for the role and did not want to lose the opportunity of having him on the team.
As a moderator, he chose to focus exclusively in the Discord server since July of 2019 when the moderator team was discussing to stop giving moderator roles to developers by default. As a spriter, he recreated assets in 8-bit sprite art for Mega Man games that were not originally in 8-bit such as Mega Man 7, Mega Man 8, and Mega Man 11.
He left during 1.7.0's development because he no longer wanted to be part of the team.
