| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Character Capsules are Mega Man Maker exclusive pickups introduced in version 1.3.0. They hold a playable character, and when a player touches the capsule, it instantly switches them to that character. When first placed in a level, its placeholder character is set to None. By default, this means the capsule will do nothing unless a character is selected.
Level creators must enable the desired character in the Character Settings menu before assigning them to a Character Capsule. Characters in Character Capsules cannot be used unless collected first. If a player dies before reaching a checkpoint, they’ll respawn with their previously active character — not the one they switched to. Character Capsules can be set to any of the playable Characters(Mega Man, Proto Man, Bass and Roll) Which can be set through options.
If the player is already using the same character the capsule is set to, nothing will change upon collecting it. Capsules with the character set to None will have no effect.
