Reason: Full list of assets shown in the 1.10.0 release trailer and the full list of assets chosen by members of the development team

1.10.0 is an update for Mega Man Maker released on July 25, 2025. Rather than sticking to a specific theme, it focused on adding content that members of the development team wanted to see added. The main feature of the update was the Ability Capsule which allows creators to enable or disable Character Abilities during a level. Additionally, the update added music from the Mega Man X, Mega Man Zero, and Mega Man ZX series.

To allow the development team to take advantage of more GameMaker functions, support for 32-bit operating systems was dropped starting from 1.10.0. As a result, the auto-updater crashed when players attempted to use it in previous versions.

For a list of announcements made for version 1.10.0, see this page.

Plushie contest

Reason: A developer confirming publicly the reason that reverse gravity has been deconfirmed

A plushie contest was held from February 4, 2025 to February 16, 2025 in which users could vote for three plushies they would like to see added in version 1.10.0 from a selection of 81 Robot Master bosses. The top three plushies with the most votes were added to Mega Man Maker in version 1.10.0.

There were a total of 758 votes made for the contest. The winners were:

  1. Gravity Man: 111 votes
  2. Air Man: 105 votes
  3. Elec Man/Gemini Man: tied for 56 votes each

Gravity Man's plushie functionality was not implemented at the time of the reveal announcing the winners of the plushie contest, likely because Gravity Man's weapon, Gravity Hold, and other level objects from his stage flipping the player's gravity (often dubbed as "reverse gravity") has been deconfirmed as it requires a large overhaul to the game's engine to properly implement.[citation needed] As a result, at the end of the reveal video announcing the winners of the plushie contest, Mega Man is shown shooting at a Gravity Man plushie, causing the game to crash and an error message appearing that says: "Seems like you're trying to add reverse gravity to the game, this is not realistic, please try something else for the release of the update..."

For the plushie contest voting document and possible voting options, see this page.
