Trivia

  • Level mugshots for bosses that exist in Mega Man Maker are the same as their profile icons. However, prior to version 1.9.0, there were two exceptions:
    • Yamato Man, whose level mugshot uses a lighter color palette
    • Dark Man 4, whose profile icon was added in 1.8.1 with revisions made
  • Prior to version 1.3.4, Mega Man's level mugshot was utilized when a level contained a Party Ball or an Energy Element.
  • The only level mugshots that do not have profile icon equivalents are those for a level containing only Party Balls/Energy Elements to end a level or multiple bosses.
  • Like the other bosses, Gemini Man has a mugshot still present in the game. It has a frame number of 8, due to Party Ball/Energy Element's mugshot being frame number 0. Gemini Man himself has a boss ID of 9.
  • Likely in order to properly show mugshot sprites, various extra sprites were added for v1.8.0, including two duplicates of the Kamegoro Maker mugshot (for the whirlpool generators), two duplicates of the Boobeam Trap mugshot (for the Boobeam enemies themselves as the controller handles the mugshot), and a transparent sprite with the text "Do Not Delete!" on it (likely for Boobeam Rails).
