Magma Beam Generator is a lethal hazard originating from Magma Man's stage in Mega Man 9 and was added to Mega Man Maker in version 1.5.0.

Behavior

Magma Beam Generators, which can either be light green or light orange in color, fire large bursts of deadly Magma Beams that can be set to fire left, right, up or down in the Level Editor. The Magma Beams are deadly and will instantly destroy the player if they come into contact with a beam. The Magma Beams also have fire-based properties so will interact with several level objects such as igniting TNTs and Oil.

The Magma Beam Generators has five number options in the Level Builder that determine the time interval at which a Generator creates Magma Beams.

Interactions

• Concrete Shot has the ability to solidify Magma Beams temporarily for four seconds, giving them collision to make them safe to touch and use as platforms in creative ways.
• Solidified Magma Beams can also be destroyed by Laser Trident. Both of these interactions were possible in Mega Man 9.
