Gamerizer is a Fortress Boss from Mega Man 7. He is featured in Mega Man Maker since 1.10.0.
Battle
When it appears, Gamerizer falls down to the floor. After that, it spits one or more chains of fire. Afterwards, it raises one tile from the floor or accomodates to the player's height position to try to ram at them from one to four times. In normal terrain, the attack is made to be dodged with Slide. Afterwards, it returns to the floor to spit one or more chains of fire and then it leaves a part of the shell that spawns small turtle robots called Spotaro. The shell hangar will always spawn three Spotaros that can be trapped with the Danger Wrap.
The Spotaro will have different patterns. If the shell hangar has a 1, the Spotaro will walk and jump. If the shell hangar has a 2, the Spotaro will spin and raise to then fall at the player's position. If the shell hangar has a 3, the Spotaro will spin to enter the floor and then will jump out from the player's position. After the Spotaro are killed or return to the shell hangar, Gamerizer returns to repeat the pattern.
Gamerizer's fire can stun the player while burning them and slowly cause 7 points of damage. It can also ignite or break level objects that react to fire, like Chill Blocks.
Trivia
- As of version 1.10.1.5, the profile icon and level mugshot for Gamerizer differ slightly. The profile icon version has Gamerizer's eyebrows raised slightly and a few rows of transparent pixels in its bottom right corner, while the level mugshot version has an additional patch of green in its bottom left corner.
- The differences are likely due to the profile icon version being based off a GIF of Gamerizer raising its eyebrows used as an emoji in the Discord server.
- Concepts of the Gamerizer level mugshot and profile icon initially included Spotaro but was removed from the final version as it did not fit in the space for the icon.[1]
