Thunder Claw Pole is a Level Object coming from Clown Man's stage in Mega Man 8 and was added to Mega Man Maker in version 1.5.0.
The Thunder Claw Pole is a non-collision Object that interacts with the Thunder Claw player weapon. If the player shoots Thunder Claw and it touches a Thunder Claw Pole the player's Thunder Claw will attach to the pole and pull the player in its direction. If adequate open area is available the player will perform a 180 degree swing from the point where they initially attached to the Thunder Claw Pole to its opposite side. If the player collides with anything at the onset or during the swing the player will immediately detach from the Thunder Claw Pole.
