Fan is a Level Object present in Wind Man's stage in Mega Man 6. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.4.0.
Fans are 2x1 objects in the Level Builder. They are in layer 5, as are most tilesets, enemies, and level objects. When placed, there are three color options: yellow, blue and light blue. There are also two options to set the direction of the fan up or down.
Behavior
When a player crosses over an upwards-facing fan, the player will be blown upwards, about to the top of the screen, before floating there; if there is a ceiling in the way, they will be blown up and remain at the top of the ceiling. The player can still move left and right and moving out of the fan's range will cause the player to drop down.
On the contrary, if the player crosses under a downwards-facing fan, they will be blown downwards to the nearest ground or even into a pit; the player will be unable to jump when under the fan but, as with the upwards fan, will still be able to move left and right.
Enemies will not be affected by fans.
