Wanaan is a Level Object that first appeared in Hard Man's stage and the second Wily Castle stage in Mega Man 3. Wanaan reappeared in Hard Man's stage in Mega Man II as well as in Mega Man: The Wily Wars. Wanaan was added to Mega Man Maker in version 1.2.0.
Level Builder
Wanaan is designated to the 5th layer, as are most tiles, enemies and level objects. There are two color options for Wanaan, green and yellow-green. When placed down it is a 2x1 object.
Behavior
Wanaan hides in pipe-like objects called Wanaan Pipes that are placed in the Editor. In-game, if a player steps on a Wanaan Pipe, the resident Wanaan will pop out after just a few moments, attempting to snap the player in its jaws, much like a bear trap, and then immediately retreating back into its pipe. The sudden attacks of Wanaan prompt players to keep moving to avoid being hit.
Weaknesses
While invulnerable to most weapons, Wanaan in Mega Man Maker is still vulnerable to certain ones whenever it pops out of its pipe. If destroyed, another Wanaan will appear if the player steps on the Wanaan Pipe again.
