Targets are level objects originating from Mega Man 10. They are featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.8.0.
Behavior
Targets can appear in six different colors: red, green, blue, orange, purple, and yellow-pink. If a Target is hit by the player's weapon, it will be destroyed. Once the last Target of a particular color on a connected screen is destroyed, one of two things can happen depending on the settings for that Target's color:
- The player will be awarded an item that will travel to the player's position. This can be one of the following:
- Health (either small or large)
- Weapon energy (either small or large)
- Life
- Yashichi
- Key corresponding to the color of the target(s) destroyed
- The level will end (similar to shooting a Party Ball).
Variants
- Target Rails are colored rails on which Targets can move back and forth at one of four speed settings. The color of the rail will match the color of the Target at that position in the Level Builder.
