He is equipped with his signature weapon, the Black Hole Bomb. During the events of Mega Man 9 he was scheduled to expire and be scrapped with other Robot Masters from this game, Dr. Wily offers to repair him but instead tricks and reprograms him and the other Robot Masters in another attempt to conquer the world.
