DLN-072/DRN-072 Galaxy Man is a Robot Master from Mega Man 9 who will appear in version 1.9.0. He was created by Dr. Light to calculate rocket trajectories in space. He is equipped with his signature weapon, the Black Hole Bomb. During the events of Mega Man 9 he was scheduled to expire and be scrapped with other Robot Masters from this game, Dr. Wily offers to repair him but instead tricks and reprograms him and the other Robot Masters in another attempt to conquer the world.

  • A community voting contest was held to determine which Robot Master from the 8-bit titles that the community would like to see in version 1.9.0. Galaxy Man was later announced as the winner, with Nitro Man holding second place. Both Robot Masters have been confirmed to appear in version 1.9.0.
