Fire Wave Redirector (known as Fire Wave Relocator prior to version 1.8.4) is a Level Object introduced to Mega Man Maker in version 1.7.0. It originated in the first Mega Man game on the NES in Fire Man's stage.

Fire Wave Redirector is a companion object to the Fire Wave Spawner Level Object. Fire Wave Spawners create Fire Waves that, upon entering a Fire Wave Redirector, will then travel in the direction of wherever the Fire Wave Redirector is pointing. Fire Wave Redirector can point in one of four cardinal directions and come in two versions, solid and non-solid. The solid variant of Fire Wave Redirector behave the same as tiles, while the non-solid variant allows the Player, Enemies, mobile Level Objects and player Weapon projectiles to pass through it like empty space.

Fire Man's Fire Wave projectiles can also be redirected when entering a Fire Wave Redirector.

Interactions

  • The Weapon Magic Card has the ability to change the direction of the non-solid variant of the Fire Wave Redirector with each hit.
