Scorch Wheel is Turbo Man's signature weapon, originating from Mega Man 7. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.9.0.

Behavior

When fired, the player creates a shield of four rotating fireballs around them. Creating this shield will damage enemies and bosses: when around the player, the fire shield has a small hitbox that will also cause damage. This shield does not protect the player from taking contact damage from most enemies or damage from most enemy projectiles. Noteworthy is that Scorch Wheel can be an effective shield against buster-destroyable enemy projectiles and smaller enemies. Holding the shoot button will keep the shield around the player longer for up to two seconds.

Once created, the shield will be launched from the player, traveling along the ground affected by gravity until it hits a wall or an enemy's shield. The shield will also be destroyed if it damages an enemy and does not destroy them.

Scorch Wheel's shield will immediately be extinguished when it touches or is created in water, Chemical Solution, Burst Water, or any of their Section Wide variants, creating four small bubbles that float upward.

Trivia

• When Scorch Wheel is used, the player has the same sprites as when they use Wild Coil.
