Wire is a utility from Mega Man 4, obtained by traversing a Spike pit after the second mini-boss in Dive Man's stage. It will be featured in Mega Man Maker in version 1.10.0.
When the shoot key is pressed, the player launches a wire that goes upwards, then hooks itself onto any ceiling it comes across. Once it does so, the player will be taken upwards as the wire retracts. After the wire has been successfully retracted, the player can adjust its length, and can also fire bullets akin to those of the Mega Buster.
