Tango is a cat robot created by Dr. Light and modified to assist Mega Man in battle. He was featured in the Game Boy game Mega Man V and added to Mega Man Maker in version 1.8.0.
Whenever Tango is summoned by the player he will roll into a spiky ball and bounce onscreen attacking enemies until the player switches special weapons or the Weapon Energy for Tango is depleted. Tango deals 1 damage per tick while in contact with an enemy.
Behavior
Tango is designed to home in on enemies and certain level objects. Tango will home in and attempt to hit his target 3 times. If he fails all 3 attempts he will return back to the player's location. If Tango is successful in hitting a target he will not leave until the target is destroyed. If there are no targets on screen, Tango will follow the player until weapon energy depletes or if he falls into a pit.

Trivia
- The development team had an idea for an additional use of Tango which was scrapped. Originally there was an idea tossed around that Tango would have a unique animation to stop on and press Astro Buttons that are out of reach. This idea was ultimately scrapped due to concerns of Tango pressing the same button multiple times, and the extra sprites required.
