Surumaker is a squid enemy that appears in Aqua Man's stage in Mega Man 8 and Pirate Man's in Mega Man & Bass.
Behavior
When it is in water or Chemical Solutions, it floats for a while before trying to move towards the player's direction, although it can be bounced by walls. Then it repeats its pattern.
If it is out of water, it jumps agitated from side to side, jumping randomly either left or right for half a tile horizontally with each bounce on land.
Trivia
- Surumaker's flavor text is a reference to the Nickelodeon animated series SpongeBob SquarePants and references the character Squidward Tentacles, who is also a squid like the Surumaker.
- Unlike most aquatic enemies, Surumaker's attitude out of water comes from the original games rather than being unique to Mega Man Maker.
