If the shoot key is pressed (uncharged shot), the player will shoot out a projectile akin to the [[Mega Buster]], but with double the normal damage. If they hold the shoot key down then release it (charged shot), they will perform a dash damaging any enemy in their path, with the addition of being granted invincibility frames during and after the dash (marked by a flickering sprite afterwards). The dash automatically ends after a set amount of time, dashing off a ledge, or by running into either a solid object or an enemy that isn't destroyed by the dash. It can also be prematurely ended by the player via either hitting the jump button (can slide out of it, too) or turning the opposite direction.
The dash will only be performed if the player is touching solid ground; even if the shoot key is released in the air after charging the weapon, the game will wait until the player is no longer airborne before initiating the dash. This means the player can still shoot uncharged shots in the air while maintaining their charge. The dash can be charged during the player's  flickering invincibility frames, allow the player to chain multiple dashes together to maintain invincibility for a long period of time.

It's also important to note that the dash will only be performed if the player is touching solid ground; even if the shoot key is released in the air after charging the weapon, the game will wait until the player is no longer airborne before initiating the dash. This means the player can still shoot uncharged shots in the air while holding on to their charge, provided that the shoot key is held again before touching ground.

Break Dash is Pluto's signature weapon originating from Mega Man V. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.8.0.

If the shoot key is pressed (uncharged shot), the player will shoot out a projectile akin to the Mega Buster; uncharged shots cost no weapon energy.

If the player holds the shoot key down then releases it, they will perform a dash damaging any enemy in their path (including shielded enemies), with the addition of being granted invincibility frames during and two seconds after the dash (marked by a flickering sprite afterwards). A half charged dash will make the player dash 3 tiles horizontally while a fully charged dash will make the player dash 6 tiles horizontally. The dash will end immediately if the player dashes off a ledge or runs into either a solid object or an enemy that is not destroyed by the dash. The dash can also be prematurely ended by the player via either pressing the jump button, pressing the slide button, or turning in the opposite direction of the dash. Ending the dash prematurely will immediately activate the player's flickering invincibility frames.
