Mole is a drill-like enemy from Mega Man 2 with its first appearance in Metal Man's stage and the final stages of Dr. Wily's castle. It was added to Mega Man Maker in version 1.7.0.
When spawned, a Mole will travel in the direction it was set to face in the Level Builder. Moles will slowly travel vertically through any obstacles in their path to reach the opposite side of their spawn location, remaining vulnerable to damage.
Mole will appear at either the top or bottom of an area entered by the player.

The Molmole is a variant of the Mole that appears in the final stages of the the Wily Castle and the first special stage in Mega Man 10. It behaves nearly identically to the normal Mole except for the fact that it creates a small visual spark effect before entering and after exiting any solid terrain.

Trivia
- The original Mole Spawner and Molmole Spawner introduced in 1.7.0 spawned them randomly, but due to community feedback they were repurposed as a random spawner with green-blue colored Moles/yellow Molmoles. Variants of the spawners that were more faithful to their original appearance retained their original orange-red (Mole) and blue (Molmole) colors and were introduced in version 1.7.4.
