Gyoraibo is a robot fish designed to be a miniature robotic battleship. It originates from Mega Man 3 from Gemini Man's stage and also appears in Mega Man: The Wily Wars and was added to Mega Man Maker in version 1.2.0.

Behavior

Underwater

The Gyoraibo will swim quickly horizontally in its facing direction. If it collides with a wall, it will change direction and swim slowly downwards instead. If it collides with a floor after swimming downwards, it will stop moving.

If Gyoraibo and the player meet on the same coordinate on the x-axis while the Gyoraibo swimming quickly horizontally, the Gyoraibo will pause briefly to fire a torpedo that will travel upwards, until hitting something resembling a ceiling and exploding, or despawning upwards off-screen, and the Gyoraibo will then continue to swim quickly in its facing direction.

If Gyoraibo has collided with a wall and has started traveling downwards, or has stopped moving by colliding with the floor after traveling downwards, it will no longer fire torpedoes, regardless if it has fired one or not previously.

The fired torpedo deflects most attacks fired at it, but can itself be deflected by Shine or Proto Man's Shield.

The explosion caused by a torpedo colliding with something resembling a ceiling can hurt the player, as can getting hit by the torpedo itself which will not cause it to explode.

On Land

The Gyoraibo will struggle in place, not caring to turn to face the player.

If the player come within 1.5 tiles of the Gyoraibo, it will fire a torpedo that travels roughly 5 tiles upwards, and then travels back downwards. If the fired torpedo connects with the Gyoraibo that fired it, the resulting explosion will destroy it.

If the one torpedo fired by the Gyoraibo is destroyed, and the enemy still manages to survive, it will not be able to fire any more torpedoes.

The fired torpedo deflects most attacks fired at it, but can itself be deflected by Shine or Proto Man's Shield.

The explosion caused by a torpedo colliding with something resembling a ceiling can hurt the player, as can getting hit by the torpedo itself which will not cause it to explode.

A Gyoraibo can be set to face left or right in the Level Builder.
