Flappy Beat is a Special Weapon featuring Beat from Mega Man 5. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.7.0. This weapon is exclusive to Roll.
When used, Beat is summoned three tiles above where the user pressed the attack key. While he's present, uncharged broom swings can be performed. Touching him will let the user grab on to him, and he will flap his wings up to reach two tiles upward. By pressing the jump key, the user can keep flying, and up to thirty-five flaps can be done with a full energy gauge. While hanging on, a unique broom swing can be done that covers the area directly in front and below her. Touching a wall while attached to Beat will cause him to let go immediately, and if the weapon's energy runs out while still attached, both he and the user will sink down. If Beat is left idle for four seconds without grabbing on to him, he will fly away automatically.

Trivia
- Flappy Beat's name, function, and description are all a reference to the mobile game Flappy Bird.
- It is also loosely based off of the Beat's Whistle/Beat Call item from Mega Man 7 and beyond, though there is no limit to how long Beat will fly, and attacks can still be used while hanging on to him. Beat's tired expression when the weapon's energy is low is also derived from this item.
