The Gobots is an enemy originating from Mega Man 7, appearing in the stages of Cloud Man, Slash Man, and Turbo Man, as well as the first Wily Castle stage. It is a sizeable floating drone outfitted with a large propeller and a thruster for mobility.
Gobots debuted in version 1.4.0 of Mega Man Maker.
Level Builder
Gobots is designated to the 6th layer of the editor, which means that it can be placed over most tiles and level objects. Its facing direction can also be set as either left or right.
Behavior
The Gobots is an extremely simple enemy. It will fly directly forwards in its designated direction, initially moving upwards before waving up and down through the air.
Trivia
- In version 1.9.4 of Mega Man Maker, Gobots used to crash the game upon spawning during a screen transition. It shared this attribute with a handful of other directional enemies.
