Squidon is a giant mechanical squid and miniboss from Mega Man 6, which appeared in Blizzard Man's and Centaur Man's stages, as well as the Wily Castle.

The Squidon's facing direction can be set to either left or right.

Behavior

The Squidon is an entirely stationary enemy, although it is affected by Gravity and can be carried by moving platforms such as Crash Lifts. As a miniboss, it is very durable, and its presence alone will lock all Boss Doors onscreen, and Squidon must be destroyed before the doors are unlocked. Offensively, the Squidon is armed with two projectiles - sliding blocks of ice, and homing missiles which lock onto the player's position. Both of these projectiles can be destroyed by damaging them. The Ice Blocks in particular are affected by gravity, and display the typical properties of ice, such as the ability to freeze Lava.
