Pooker is an enemy originating from Mega Man 6 and was present in Flame Man's stage and Centaur Man's stage. Pooker was added to Mega Man Maker in version 1.4.0.
Pooker sits stationary facing the player and will periodically fire a single arcing projectile in the player's direction. It will deflect most weapon projectiles from the player but can be crushed by falling blocks or destroyed by certain weapons such as Black Hole Bomb. If hit with a charged shot by the player's Mega Buster, Proto Buster, Roll Swing, or (since version 1.5.0) Power Adaptor, Pooker will flip over: depending on what the Pooker lands on, it will either explode upon reaching solid terrain or if flipped over into Oil, Napalm Fire or lava, it will become an invulnerable platform that can be used by the player to travel in the direction it flipped in. In its platform state Pooker will have a button on its surface that, when jumped on by the player, will cause the Pooker platform to move two tiles horizontally with each button press in the direction that the player is facing. Unlike Astro Buttons, the Pooker's button is not affected by falling blocks.
Since version 1.8.4, Pooker can be set to spawn directly as a cloud platform in the Level Builder. If there are any tiles placed directly in the same position as the cloud of the Pooker in the Level Builder, it will automatically revert to its default non-cloud option: this does not occur with spikes, ladders, level objects, bosses, enemies, playable characters or the like. Additionally, a Pooker in its default state placed directly above any tiles in the Level Builder will have a grayed out option indicating it cannot be changed into its cloud state.
