Lantern Fish is an enemy originating in Bubble Man's stage in Mega Man 2 and was added to Mega Man Maker in version 1.7.0.
Lantern Fish is a large stationary enemy that will spawn into a screen when the Player enters and will attack the Player by spawning Shrink from its mouth. A Lantern Fish will only spawn a new Shrink if there are less than two Shrinks on screen. If there are multiple Lantern Fish on screen, the one that is leftmost followed by topmost will spawn a Shrink first. A Lantern Fish must be shot in its lantern located above its head in order to defeat it.
