Super Arm is Guts Man's signature weapon, originating from Mega Man 1 and reappearing in Mega Man: The Wily Wars and Mega Man Powered Up. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.7.0. The weapon allows the user to create Super Arm Blocks or lift the Super Arm Block level object.
Behavior
Pressing the attack key when in front of a Super Arm Block will allow the user to pick it up, and pressing it again will make them throw it in an arc. If the block can be picked up it will flash when the Player stands beside it. A Super Arm Block being lifted loses tangibility while the Player is carrying it; when thrown, it will break on contact when striking an Enemy or a solid surface. A thrown Super Arm Block upon breaking becomes four smaller pieces that pass through terrain and Enemies traveling both vertically and horizontally.
Attempting to climb ladders, changing weapons or sliding/dashing/rolling will cause it to be thrown immediately. Every member of the Spine family can be defeated instantly with Super Arm.
In addition to its usage of lifting existing blocks, the player can also spawn Super Arm Blocks in the area in front of them, a feature based off of Guts Man's own version of the weapon in Mega Man Powered Up. Up to five blocks can be created, and they will not despawn if the weapon is switched. However, the blocks are locally loaded and will despawn once offscreen. Blocks cannot be created if there is something obstructing the 2x2 area in front of the player. If dropped on top of an Enemy, it will break instantly, dealing less damage in the process. It also breaks if it falls upon bosses, but it does not deal them any damage.
Unlike the level object, Player spawned blocks are different in that they have physics similar to a Push Block, meaning created blocks can be used as barriers, platforms or even stacked; although once lifted a Player made block cannot be dropped, only thrown. The player can be instantly killed if a Super Arm Block falls on top of them, and bosses can be killed if they are crushed between a moving block and a wall despite being immune to them if it falls on them. Super Arm Blocks spawned by the player use the same skin as those from Mega Man Powered Up.
Both creating blocks with Super Arm and throwing them costs 2 units of energy to perform.

Super Arm Block the Level Object is a stationary block that can be grabbed and thrown with the Super Arm weapon. It is fully solid in its initial state and is 2x2 tiles in size.
It comes with multiple skins from various stages in the first Mega Man game for NES: a green one from Cut Man's stage, a yellow one from Elec Man's stage, a brown one from Guts Man's stage, a gray one from the first Wily stage, and a dark green one from the third Wily stage. There are also two skins (one green and one orange) from Cut Man's stage in Mega Man: The Wily Wars and a dark brown skin with a Super Arm Block icon in the middle from its appearance in Mega Man Powered Up. Since version 1.10.0, Guts Man can also either throw one of the eight Super Arm Block skins exclusively or choose randomly which Super Arm Block skin to throw.
Most attributes and behaviors are the same between the player made Super Arm Blocks and the Level Object version. The main difference for the Level Object version of Super Arm Block is that the Level Object has no physics and can only be used as a projectile.
Since version 1.9.0, the Guts Man plushie breaks Super Arm Blocks when colliding with them; when carried, it will also destroy the player's Super Arm Blocks when passing through them.
Fixed bugs
- In version 1.9.0:
- Plushies other than the Guts Man plushie when lifted by the player could break Super Arm Blocks placed by the player on contact.
- There was no limit to how many plushies could be held at a time using Super Arm.
- The player could not grab a plushie when they no longer had weapon energy on Super Arm even if throwing a plushie cost no weapon energy.
- Plushies on different sections could be grabbed by Super Arm or fall in the current section if they were on the edge of the section.
