Plant Barrier is Plant Man's signature weapon, originating from Mega Man 6. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.0.0.
When activated, the user is surrounded by flower petals that absorb any projectiles that come in contact with it. If the user's health is below full, then the absorbed projectiles will be converted into HP, with the amount regained and energy consumed being equal to the damage they would have dealt. Against bosses, Wood Man's Leaf Shield, Flame Man's Flame Blast, Grenade Man's Flash Bomb and falling debris, and Astro Man's Astro Crush cannot be absorbed. The shield will only be removed upon contact with an enemy or destructible object, and it uses 2 units of energy when used this way.

Trivia
- Plant Barrier functioned much differently in Mega Man 6 than it does in Mega Man Maker. In that game, it was a more offense-oriented shield that could ignore enemy armor, and cost 4 units of energy rather than 2.
- The changes made to Plant Barrier in Mega Man Maker could be inspired by how it functions in the fangame Mega Man 8-bit Deathmatch, where it's more focused on healing than dealing damage.
