Conveyor Belts are level objects that first appeared in Mega Man 2. It is featured in Mega Man Maker since its initial release with variants from other games added in verison 1.6.0.
In the Level Builder, the builder can change the direction, speed, and appearance of a Conveyor Belt. Since 1.8.0, the builder can also customize an individual Conveyor Belt's settings on the end or in the middle of a section of the Conveyor.
While standing on one, the player will be moved in the designated direction of a given conveyor tile, along with any other Enemies and Level Objects also present.
Interactivity
- Like in Mega Man 2, when Metal Man is on a Conveyor Belt, he will run nonstop to ensure he negates the movement of the Conveyor Belt and has the ability to change the direction of Conveyor Belts.
- The enemy Searchy will change the direction of Conveyor Belts whenever it spots the player.
- However, an On/Off Searchy will not do so.
- If a Giree is on top of a Conveyor Belt and they are moving in the opposite directions with the Giree's speed setting one higher than the Conveyor Belt's, the Giree will appear as if it is not moving.
