Cannopeller is a floating artillery robot, and an enemy originating from Mega Man 6 - appearing in Wind Man's stage and the Fortress stages. A variant of the Cannopeller appeared in Mega Man 11.
Behavior
The Cannopeller floats vertically in place, and does not move horizontally (although it will automatically turn towards the player), while firing cannonballs, which will explode upon contact with terrain. The explosion does not actually damage the player. The individual cannonballs can also be shot and destroyed by most weapons, and have the physical properties of an enemy rather than a projectile - this means that most shield weapons will destroy the cannonball rather than reflecting it, and both Proto Man's Shield and Acid Barrier are ineffective.
Shine cannot reflect the Cannopeller's cannonballs, but it can destroy them if timed correctly.
